The reason why shrimp imports in July was able to hit a record high was that, in addition to the growth in demand, it was also related to the transformation of import measures taken by China Customs: the customs had previously adjusted the scientific adjustment of cold chain prevention and control measures, no longer imposed penalties on the suspension of import declarations for overseas enterprises that detected positive, and the import market of shrimp products also picked up immediately. Judging from the export volume of white shrimp from Ecuador, the main source country, there will be more white shrimp entering the Chinese market in the future. At the same time, the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are approaching, and the import demand in the domestic market will be more vigorous than in the first half of the year.
