It was learned from the official website of the Guangxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that recently, when the Shuikou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau conducted on-site inspection of a batch of 1 batch of 18 tons of Vietnamese dried cassava chips entering the border trade mutual market at the Nahuahu Market, it intercepted 20 heads of quarantine pests in the valley of intended kowtows, which is the sixth and first time this year that the bureau intercepted quarantine pests -- gu intended to kowtow. In order to maintain the safety of ecological agriculture and forestry in China, the bureau fumigated and eliminated the harm of this batch of dried cassava chips in accordance with the law, and further strengthened the quarantine inspection of cassava products entering Vietnam.

Cassava is one of the world's three major potatoes, its dried chips are the main raw materials for the production of alcohol, starch-rich cassava dried chips are the main hosts of a variety of storage pests, in order to prevent the introduction of harmful organisms from abroad into China, the bureau has always attached importance to the quarantine inspection of dried cassava chips imported from the mutual market. First, in strict accordance with the requirements of the work instructions, the quarantine inspection is approved and approved, and sent to the laboratory for physical and chemical project testing according to a certain sampling ratio; the second is to make corresponding treatment decisions for the dried cassava chips detected by harmful organisms in accordance with the law to effectively prevent the introduction of the epidemic situation abroad; the third is to strengthen the publicity of border residents, so that they can further understand the harm of quarantine harmful organisms, and then better assist the inspection and quarantine departments; the fourth is to strengthen the training of front-line plant inspection staff to accelerate the renewal of professional knowledge. Better improve the ability and level of control.

According to statistics, since the beginning of this year, the bureau has quarantined a total of 613 batches of dried cassava chips into Vietnam, 16,000 tons, with a value of 0.2 billion yuan, intercepted a total of 15 kinds of pests and 46 heads, including 14 kinds of general pests and 26 heads, namely corn elephants, coffee bean elephants, sauce qulu tail nails, etc.; 1 species of quarantine pests and 20 heads are gu imitation nails.
