The history of mankind is a history of suffering, a history full of disasters. In the progress of history, the general trend is evolution and development, but there is no lack of moments of regression, and there are also moments of man-made great disasters. Of course, we must not forget how our ancestors developed step by step to this day, but we must not forget the great disasters that were suffered. And the great disaster caused by man-made means that the following three are represented.
The first was the black slave trade. It was an ancient, long-lasting, cruel trade. It was the European colonists who sold the Blacks to the American continent as slaves to make up for the shortage of labor. On this sea route, a large number of black people died on the way. This trade lasted for a total of four hundred years, starting in the 15th century and ending more than a hundred years ago. During this period, hundreds of millions of Black people died on the way, and a large number of Black people died under the brutal rule of the colonists, who were exploited and abused inhumanly. Arguably, this trade is one of the most shameless and dehumanizing acts in history, which has not only led to a sharp decline in the population of the African continent, but also caused local social chaos, and is also one of the reasons for the long-term economic backwardness of the African region. This is the unforgivable crime committed by despicable and shameless Westerners.
The second is the Holocaust of the Jewish nation
During World War II, Germany, led by Hitler, carried out a devastating massacre of Jews. He brought together Jews throughout Europe and built special concentration camps to suppress Jews for extermination. It is not cruel that a large number of Jews in concentration camps were persecuted or shot for starvation and killing in just a few years. This massacre is different from the conquests of the past. After the demise of the general state, conquests and massacres exist, but generally no more than five adults are killed, except for a particularly brutal people.
The holocaust of the Jews was the scourge of extermination in the whole of Europe, a massacre carried out in order to completely wipe out this nation. The Nazi Reich also specially built a crematoria to cut off corpses, and of the six million victims, more than a million children alone showed the cruelty of the massacre.
The third was the Mongol Empire's war of conquest
The two massacres above, most people know to a greater or lesser extent, know some about them, because they are mentioned in the history books. However, this massacre was different, it was buried by history textbooks, and it was not mentioned above. The massacre was also the largest, most numerous, and most widespread. That is, the Mongol Empire's war of conquest. What we write in our history textbooks is that the Mongols conquered the countries of Asia and Europe and built a vast ancient empire, which was unprecedentedly huge and had a vast territory. However, it is not said above that in the process of this conquest, many innocent people died. Mongolia destroyed more than forty countries and slaughtered countless cities.
All the cities that resist and do not surrender will slaughter the city. What's more, in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, the population has decreased by more than eighty percent, and Arab civilization has been completely destroyed. It was far more brutal than the later Japanese invaders. The Yellow River Valley on the mainland was also destroyed by the Mongol cavalry, and the original population of the Ten Households and Nine Voids and the Original Population of the Jin Empire at that time was sharply reduced to 5 million. The southern region suffered slightly less damage. In the course of this conquest by the Mongol cavalry, more than 200 million people died, which shows how tragic it is.
