On rainy nights, adult frogs flock in large numbers among the branches of broad-leaved trees along the still waters of ponds, jumping or gliding in pursuit. After the breeding period, adult frogs disperse and are not easily detected. May and June are the breeding season, and female and male frogs hold pairs to lay eggs on the branches above the water; The follicles are pale yellow, wrapped in leaves, and are 1-10 m above the water surface. Usually 3-5 male frogs hold a total of 1 female frog, and there are 7 in a group. They can prey on pests in large quantities and have special protective significance for insect pests in the upper part of the forest.
