This year is a year of special importance for the new era and new journey, in August 2022, the surging news launched the "New Journey Strivers" series of articles to pay tribute to the actors who work hard in ordinary posts.
Located in Luodian Town, Baoshan District, Shanghai, the North Shanghai Biomedical Industrial Park is one of the five major biomedical industry parks in the city. The start and development of this park is inseparable from a company, Shanghai Zhaohui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Wang Yan, 41, is the general manager and secretary of the party branch of Shanghai Zhaohui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. When I entered the industry, I was "ignorant and understood" and continued to grow in learning
Recalling her own experience in the industry, Wang Yan used the four words "ignorant to understand" to describe.
"Initially I chose to enter this industry because I followed the advice of my parents, my father was engaged in chemical related majors, I also chose the chemical engineering major when I applied for the university volunteer, and after graduation, I came to Zhaohui Pharmaceutical." Wang Yan told the surging news reporter that initially, she entered the quality inspection department of the company, engaged in basic inspection work, mainly responsible for the sampling and inspection of raw materials and accessories.
By chance, she changed departments. Wang Yan recalled that at that time, Zhaohui Pharmaceutical cooperated with a Danish company, and the Danish boss came to the laboratory to investigate. Wang Yan happened to be in the laboratory, facing the other party's questions, she did not have a hint of timidity, and won the appreciation of the general manager of the enterprise at that time. Later, Wang Yan was transferred to the project team, and her ability was further exercised.
"After joining the project team, I had to take on a lot of specific work, such as drafting documents." Wang Yan said that this job requires extreme caution and meticulousness, and she once scolded the general manager for drafting a thousand-word material with only one wrong word, and she was scolded by the general manager. After that, I made up my mind: but all the materials I handle, a punctuation mark is good.
During her work, Wang Yan chose to continue her studies. She was admitted to jiaotong university pharmacy major, studied for three years, thus also contacting the industry's more senior teachers, so that she learned more and drug technology innovation, marketing and other related professional knowledge, especially in pharmaceutical management, "for a pharmaceutical company, mastering drug policy is particularly important, the basic research of drugs is done well, but it does not mean that the product can be successfully introduced to the market, which needs to learn and understand a lot of links." ”
While learning, while growing, in the nearly 20 years after entering the industry, Wang Yan from an inspector, technical research and development personnel, technical quality department manager, to technical quality deputy director, technical quality director, and then to deputy general manager, executive deputy general manager, general manager, is now the "leading Yan" of enterprise management.
In the more than 2 hours that the reporter interviewed Wang Yan, she rarely talked about herself, and the most talked about was the well-known drugs produced by the company. According to the enterprise, in the past 20 years, Wang Yan has participated in the research and development of drugs and technical research, and a number of new products presided over and participated in by her have been successfully listed, and a number of achievements have been applied to the field of drug quality management and production.

Charge the frontline of the fight against the epidemic and ensure the continuous supply of urgently needed drugs
As a pharmaceutical person, Wang Yan knows what drugs mean to patients.
During the epidemic in Shanghai in 2022, Shanghai Zhaohui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. faced a shutdown in mid-March, seeing that the stock of drugs was getting smaller and smaller, "At that time, I was also very worried that once the drugs were cut off, they would not be able to supply patients in time, and the consequences would be unimaginable." Wang Yan took the initiative to register at the first time, assumed the position of the leader of the enterprise anti-epidemic emergency management working group, and maintained close communication with the local government at the first time to ensure that some important and urgently needed drug supply production lines were started as soon as possible.
Under the premise of ensuring that the risk of the epidemic is controllable, she quickly formulated a closed-loop management plan, implemented guarantees from all aspects of material procurement, catering and distribution, site disinfection, transportation, health and epidemic prevention, production management, etc., and also prepared the materials needed for epidemic protection for isolated employees at the first time.
Since that time, Wang Yan's daily working hours have been more than 16 hours, and various video conferences and conference calls have been endless, often taking a sip of rice and drinking a sip of water to start a new work arrangement.
"Every link of our pharmaceutical production is interlocking, some production materials can not come in, we can only temporarily find qualified suppliers, some logistics problems, we have to communicate and coordinate immediately." It is Wang Yan's tenacity and hard work that make the 185 resident employees of the factory overcome various difficulties in a safe and healthy environment and ensure the basic drug needs of the people. On April 18, after being suspended for more than half a month, the production line finally pressed the start button for resuming work and production.

"Every month, our company also regularly organizes executive lunches, employee birthday parties and various employee activities, and whenever she has time, she will participate, she said, 'This is the best way to understand the actual difficulties of employees, and everyone can sit together and share anything new.'" Yan Qiang, executive personnel director of Shanghai Zhaohui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., said.

After studying a number of topics such as overview of modern drug production and supervision, as well as on-site teaching and practice in enterprises, 23 postgraduate students majoring in pharmacy at Shanghai University said that they had "benefited a lot".
"Through in-depth cooperation with universities, enterprises can continue to cultivate more innovative talents, international talents, digital talents, and multidisciplinary composite talents, who create value with us and better contribute to the development of the industry." Wang Yan said.
