Virginia Patton, an actress who starred in the classic Christmas movie "How Nice Life Is," recently passed away. Virginia Barton, the last living actor in "How Nice To Live," died Aug. 18 in Albany, Georgia, at the age of 97, according to Variety.

Former child star Karolyn Grimes, who starred in "How Nice Life Is," expressed her sadness on Facebook, writing: "We have another angel!" Virginia Barton Moss. She died at the age of 97. She played Harry Bailey's wife in the film How Beautiful Life is. She was now with her beloved Cruise. We will miss her!"

Virginia Barton is a native of Ohio and was born in Cleveland on June 25, 1925. She was the niece of General George Patton and worked as a stage actress before starring in films. She stood out for her role in Frank Capra's How Beautiful Life is, released in 1946 and still one of the most admired festival films in film history.

Previously, she has starred in films such as Lucky Star, Jenny, Hollywood Restaurant, Midnight Horn, Canyon Fairway and Heart of the Skull.

After How Nice Life is, Virginia Barton worked as an actress for several more years, starring in western films such as Black Eagle and the film noir Double Life. Her last film was 1949's Bloodstorm, after which she quit show business and began a successful businesswoman career.
