#Summer Battle # Air Pineapple Growing in the Air When I first saw the air pineapple (as shown in Figures 1 and 3) in Qingxiu Mountain Orchid Garden, I thought it was an ornament, but I didn't expect it to be a plant that grew directly in the air without soil. Its leaf surface has silver-gray scales that absorb water and nutrients. This is a reverse-growth plant that provides nutrients to the roots by the leaves, with only a small amount of gas rooting and only acts as an attachment fixation.
