Obstruct Iranian oil exports to China! After the United States issued an ultimatum, it found that the fist was hit on the cotton

According to the so-called "oil ban" issued by the United States to Iran, not long ago, the United States imposed sanctions on six companies that violated this ban, saying that with the help of these companies, Iran exported oil to East Asia.

However, Japan and South Korea in East Asia belong to the US camp, so the so-called exports to East Asia are mainly exported to China.

So it's clear that the U.S. goal is to limit Iranian oil exports while also restricting China's purchase of oil from Iran.

However, the United States has always used all kinds of reasons to restrict this country, to restrict that country, which does not mean much. Ignoring this threat, China has not only failed to reduce Iranian oil imports, but even reached 1 million barrels per day at some point this year.

This time, though, the U.S. ban appears to have "hit cotton."

Iran, located in the Middle East, has the fourth largest oil reserves in the world, and oil exports have long been at the forefront of the Middle East.

However, due to the deterioration of relations between the United States, the Iranian nuclear issue has reached an impasse, and the United States has imposed oil sanctions on it. As a result, although Iran's oil production is very high and the storage is large, there is no way to sell it, and Iran's oil exports are now only 40% of the past.

As an oil producer, oil accounts for more than half of Iran's GDP. After losing so much oil exports, incomes have fallen significantly, seriously affecting Iran's national economy and foreign exchange reserves, while also causing severe inflation in their countries.

Therefore, buying oil from Iran can not only meet our demand for oil, but also provide "help" by the way. However, for a country, whether to buy or not to buy, how much to buy, needs to be considered comprehensively.

Judging from the sanctions imposed by the United States on these companies, the United States is restricting Iran's exports to China or conversely, the United States is restricting China's oil imports from Iran, but after the United States used this trick, it found that its fist was hit on cotton.

It turns out that China has not imported much oil from Iran recently, mainly from Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and other countries.

Data show that China imported only 260,000 tons of oil from Iran in June, which is not even a fraction compared to more than 7 million tons imported from Russia. China imports the most oil from Russia, 54 percent more than Saudi Arabia in second place.

Why don't we import oil from Iran? Is it because of U.S. restrictions?

The reason is that Iran's oil prices are much higher than in other countries.

According to the data, the average price of oil imported from Iran in June was 5745 yuan per ton, while Russia's oil was only 4660 yuan, Malaysia's only needed 4620 yuan, Canada's 4489 yuan, and the cheapest Indonesia, only 3034 yuan, in this case, China's import of cheaper oil, is very normal.

In the future, if the price of Iranian oil can be lower, China can also import more Iranian oil.

With the development of China in the past 20 years, China's demand for energy is also increasing day by day, even with the world's 13th oil reserves, it is still unable to meet the needs of the market, and needs to rely on imports.

Therefore, driven by common interests, China and Iran reached a cooperation agreement, and when The price of Iranian oil was cheaper in March this year, Iran's oil exports to China averaged more than 1 million barrels a day.

In recent months, however, Iranian oil prices have risen sharply, and China has reduced its imports from Iran. If in the future, the price of Iranian oil can regain its advantage, we can still import more oil from Iran, and we do not care about US sanctions.
