2022 is the 700th anniversary of the death of Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322), a master of calligraphy and painting in the Yuan Dynasty. Zhao Mengfu, together with Ouyang Qian, Yan Zhenqing, and Liu Gongquan, was called the "Four Great Masters of Kaishu". The works in the exhibition are all nearly 200 works of 70 kinds of calligraphy of Zhao Mengfu before 1949. Zhao Mengfu has a deep relationship with Jinan, he once served as the governor of Tongzhi Jinan Road, and the famous "Quehua Autumn Color Map" in the history of Chinese painting is the autumn scenery of Queshan Mountain in Jinan depicted by Zhao Mengfu.
