The Museum of Islamic Art in Doha is located on an artificial island off the coastline of The Qatari capital, Doha, which was created for him by museum designer I.M. There is also a 10th-century ewe-shaped bronze cast-headed fountain head, which may have been placed in the courtyard of an Andalusian palace. In addition, there are brass-cast astrolabes (made between 984 and 986 AD, in Iran or Iraq) that serve as a computational tool to observe astronomy, astrology, and geography, and to help people orient themselves towards the holy city of Mecca. The rarest and rarest is a red silk carpet made in the 14th or 15th century, known as the Timurid checkerboard garden carpet. In addition, there are court emerald amulets from the Mughal dynasty of India in 1696.

Metal crafts exhibition area

The metal crafts section of the Turkish and Islamic Works Museum is the first to exhibit the unique works belonging to the Great Seljuk Empire.

A large part of the collection in this exhibition area is a mortar, an incense burner, a large mouth can, a mirror, a dirham, and a door knocker at the Cizre Ulu Mosque. There are also 14th-century chandeliers decorated with constellations and planetary symbols, which have a considerable place in Islamic metal craftsmanship.

All Ottoman metal crafts from the 16th century to the 19th century also include silver medallions, brass medallions, copper-zinc alloy medallions (decorated with gemstones), candles, perfume bottles, incense burners and laundry basins.
