On May 23, 2022, the first event of the 15th Gansu Provincial Games, the Youth Shooting Competition, was officially launched. The competition attracted 119 athletes from 6 prefectures and cities in the province to compete in the same field.
On the first day of the shooting event, the Lanzhou municipal team in the junior group men's 10m air rifle team competition, athletes Ren Hengze, Wang Kebin, Jiang Zhaokai through tacit cooperation, all the way to the lead, and finally broke the provincial games record with a total score of 1809.1 rings, won the first gold of the 15th Gansu Provincial Games.
