"Where are you going?" Liu Siqi still couldn't help asking.
"Far away from the place!" At this time, Mao Anying had become a member of the Chinese Volunteer Army, and he wanted to strictly guard the military top secrets that were about to follow Mr. Peng into the Korean War, and even to his beloved, he could not reveal half a point.
However, Mao Anying eventually turned the topic around to North Korea, and Liu Siqi seemed very surprised, subconsciously thinking that her husband was going to North Korea: "I know North Korea, there is a peninsula, there is a war, you rarely want it?"

After listening to the whole process of his son's sacrifice, Chairman Mao was deeply saddened, but he still did not forget to tell SiQi the news for the time being.
Because of Chairman Mao's love, Liu Siqi only learned this bad news almost three years after Mao Anying's sacrifice. Prior to this, Chairman Mao was alone in this huge pain, trying to conceal the news while urging his daughter-in-law to complete her studies.

During that time, Liu Siqi corresponded more with Chairman Mao, who encouraged her to make bold decisions, and she eventually made a choice to be loyal to her heart. In 1957, Liu Songlin returned to China and transferred to Peking University to study Russian literature.
Although learning can divert people's attention, Liu Siqi has never really come out of grief. By 1958, the last volunteers had returned from Korea, but her beloved brother Kishi could never return.

Since then, Liu Siqi has gone to the DPRK many times to pay tribute to Mao Anying, and in May 2006, she went to Dayu-dong in North Pyongan Province, North Korea, where Mao Anying was sacrificed and where Liu Siqi was most concerned.

In the autumn of 1961, Liu Siqi began to work after graduating from university, and in the process, Chairman Mao repeatedly advised Liu Siqi to remarry, and even personally entrusted people to find suitable objects for her.
Chairman Mao said to Liu Siqi in his letter: "Hello daughter, where is the reason for forgetting?" Listen to the advice, make up your mind to get married, it's time. ”
During that time, Chairman Mao wrote many letters to Liu Siqi and patiently advised him when he had the opportunity to meet. One day Liu Siqi went to visit Chairman Mao, and Chairman Mao couldn't help but say, "Child, you must listen to advice, you must be able to afford to put it down, get rid of pain as soon as possible, and find someone to start a family." ”
After Liu Zhen, then deputy commander of the Air Force and president of the Air Force Academy, heard about this incident, he took the initiative to find Chairman Mao and said: "Chairman, our academy has a teacher who is very good, he still came back from the Soviet Union, his name is Yang Maozhi, you see if you can let him have contact with Si Qi." ”
