Recently, after 10 days of intense construction, the ninth batch of Chinese peacekeeping engineer detachments to Mali completed the task of rushing to build a defensive shooting platform in the Menaka camp of THE UNITED HORSE with high standards, which was highly recognized by the Engineering Office of the Eastern Theater of the United Nations Regiment.
In accordance with the requirements of the tasks of the Engineering Department of the Eastern Theater of the United Malaysian Regiment, the engineering detachment adopted the construction plan of "construction from far and near, echelon construction, and completion in batches," strictly organized on-site surveys, selected and dispatched elite forces, and comprehensively and meticulously overhauled equipment, thus laying a solid foundation for ensuring the orderly advancement of the task.
In the face of the harsh natural environment and the threat of terrorist attacks at any time, the officers and men of the peacekeeping operation carried forward the fighting spirit of "not being afraid of suffering and not being afraid of death", established a sense of the overall situation, divided into multiple points, and rushed forward to promote various construction tasks. Adhering to the concept of "professionalism, high quality, and high efficiency," the officers and men, under the conditions of complex security situation and harsh natural environment, came out early and returned late, worked overtime, and fought continuously, aiming to establish "Chinese quality" and "Chinese standards."
After 10 consecutive working days of urgent construction, the ninth batch of China's peacekeeping engineering detachment to Mali dispatched a total of more than 200 troops, more than 40 engineering equipment, and transported more than 800 cubic meters of earth and stone, completing the construction task of the defense shooting platform with high standards.
The successful completion of this project has greatly improved the overall defensive capability of the Menaka camp. With excellent construction quality and good work style image, The Chinese engineers have once again been highly praised by the United Nations staff and friendly forces of various countries.
