A series of Japanese wild monkey crimes injured 42 people

The case occurred on July 8, when a Japanese macaque broke into a duplex apartment in Kogun District, Yamaguchi City, and tried to drag a baby out of the window, but fortunately his father found it, otherwise the baby was taken away, but the baby was still scratched by the monkeys.
Another mother had a similar experience, she just went to dry her clothes, leaving her baby to play by herself in the living room, but the monkey slipped in through the window, grabbed the baby's leg and wanted to drag it out the window. The mother was so frightened by the baby's cry that she rushed to the living room and snatched the baby from the monkey. According to the mother's recollection, the monkey's wrinkled face at that time was like a demon.
Such a case should be a small probability event, right? But a few days later, a monkey entered a primary school, frantically attacked 5 children without the power of chickens, and even almost took a child away, fortunately, the teacher was still dutiful and frantically resisted. Three days later, the monkeys stormed the nursery again and attacked a 4-year-old girl.
In the days that followed, the terrifying monkeys attacked many elderly people in succession, almost always pushing them down and tearing at the old people when they were not paying attention to their laundry.
In the frenzied attack, the number of people attacked has reached 42 so far.

Horrific attacks
Japanese macaques are common in most parts of Japan, and in some areas, these monkeys have become a complete scourge, eating crops, grabbing things and even entering people's homes to fool around. But a spate of monkey attacks in the western Japanese city of Yamaguchi is uncommon, and this monkey is not for food, but seems to really take pleasure in attacking humans.
An agriculture department official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said: "Yamaguchi City is surrounded by mountains, and it is a daily routine to see monkeys, and attacks are occasional, but there have never been so many attacks in a short period of time." ”
Although the injuries were relatively minor scratches and bites, the monkey understood that the threat of the elderly and children was relatively small, which allowed it to carry out violence with peace of mind, and after many successes, it swelled, and in several recent attacks, adults were also attacked, but one of the men kicked the monkey fiercely, making the monkey feel threatened and hiding, making it difficult for the local police to find it.
Police now patrol daily and are equipped with sedative guns because the traps they set earlier failed to trap any pesky primates. While the survey revealed that most of the attacks were caused by the same monkey, it cannot be ruled out that other accomplices who have mastered the art of opening sliding doors and windows cannot be ruled out.
The city isn't even sure if the attacks were the work of multiple monkeys or by a combative man. In some cases, intruders entered through sliding open screen doors, or through windows.
Japanese macaques
In recent years, the reduction of natural habitat area and the reduction of food access have forced many species to wander in urban centers in search of livelihood, and their activities in cities have become more frequent, because they see more people and humans are more tolerant of them, resulting in these monkeys lacking fear of humans.
These animals usually weigh about 11 kg and are only about 50-60 cm tall, but they are very strong compared to children and the elderly, and the desperate fight of wild animals makes them even against adult humans.
Monkeys everywhere, even if they occasionally clash with humans, are not as frequent as Yamaguchi City, and perhaps only until the monkeys who catch the offender can know the reason.
