"Cow Herding Diagram" is a work that Li Keyan gave to his friend Chen Dayu. In 1907, Li Keyan was born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, and in 1912, Chen Dayu was born in Chaoyang County, Guangdong Province, a difference of 5 years, but the two from the north and south have a lot in common. In 1947, when Chen Dayu held a solo exhibition in Beiping, two Qi Men disciples, who were deeply influenced by Qi Baishi, met each other, felt sorry for each other, hated each other, and the common goal of the heavy responsibility of reforming Chinese painting made them often sketch together.

Along the way, two teachers and a graduate student painted separately during the day and often observed and discussed together at night, if Huang Runhua was in the learning stage at that time, then the influence between Li and Chen was inevitable.
