When the empress was ill, Li Yuqiang, the lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty, endured the pain of losing his son and took good care of Empress Zhou, accompanying her day and night. Even, try medicine for her.

Li Yu was born on Qixi and was the sixth son of Li Jing, the second emperor of the Southern Tang Dynasty.

He has the appearance of a saint. For this reason, Li Yu was jealous of the crown prince.

However, Li Yu had no intention of politics at all. He enjoyed sightseeing and indulging in poetry and painting.

In order to reward Emperor Zhouzong, his father Li Jing arranged for Li Yu to marry Emperor Zhou'e, the eldest daughter of Emperor Zhouzong.

After meeting, the talented Zhou Shi made Li Yu fall in love at first sight, and the two had similar interests.

In 955, the 18-year-old Li Yu married the 19-year-old Zhou. After marriage, the two fell in love with each other, like glue like paint.

In 959, the crown prince died young. His father made Li Yu the King of Wu.

In 961, his father moved the capital to Hongzhou, and Li Yu was made crown prince, staying in Jinling.

In September of the same year, the 24-year-old Li Yu ascended the throne and made Zhou Empress.

After ascending the throne, Li Yu took the lead in benevolence and punishment.

For a time, the Southern Tang Dynasty was peaceful, and the people were happy.

In the palace, Li Yu and Empress Zhou were affectionate and indulgent.

Together, the two adapted the lost "Neon Dress Feather Song" into a new song.

After that, the two gave birth to two sons, happy and happy.

Unfortunately, the good times did not last long.

One day, a cat smashed the glass cup, and the sound of shattering frightened their son and made him sick.

Soon, his 4-year-old son died prematurely.

Empress Zhou, who had lost her beloved son, could not afford to be ill.

When he was ill, Li Yuqiang endured the pain of losing his son, took good care of Empress Zhou, and accompanied her day and night. Even, try medicine for her.

Hearing the news, her sister Xiao Zhou often visited the palace.

Xiao Zhou is young and beautiful, lively and agile, 14 years younger than his sister. Not long after, she had a secret affair with Li Yu.

When Empress Zhou found out, she was annoyed by her sister's behavior and refused to see her sister again. At the same time, her condition worsened.

Soon after, the 29-year-old Empress Zhou died of illness.

In 965, Li Yu's mother died, and the funeral was observed according to the system. After the completion of the mourning period, the position of Queen has been vacant for 4 years.

In November 969, Li Yu established Xiao Zhou as the successor empress, known in history as Xiao Zhou Hou.

However, Li Yu, who was in a quiet corner, did not know that the jackals around him were waiting for an opportunity.

In 975, the Song army captured Jinling City. Li Yu and Xiao Zhou were later captured in Beijing.

In fact, before the capture, Zhao Kuangyin, the grandfather of the Song Dynasty, admired Li Yu's talent, repeatedly persuaded him to surrender, and proposed peace, but was rejected by Li Yu.

Before being taken to Beijing, Li Yu was under house arrest, knowing that wealth and prosperity were about to be disillusioned. Wrote the lyrics "Broken Line":

Forty years of home country, three thousand miles of mountains and rivers. Fengge Dragon Tower Lian Xiaohan, Yushu Qiongzhi as a smoke lotus, how many have you ever known Gange?

Li Yu faced a different fate.

After arriving in Beijing, Li Yu often did not sleep well and always dreamed.

After waking up, he wrote "Remembering Jiangnan":

How much hate, last night in the dream. It is also like the old days of swimming in the garden, and the car is like a flowing water horse like a dragon. The flower moon is springing.

In the dream, there is the prosperity of the past, there is the joy of the old time, and what you see in the dream is the former Jinling.

After waking up on a rainy night, he wrote "Waves and Sands":

The rain outside the curtain was babbling, the spring was hazy, and Luo Yu was impatient with the five more cold. In the dream, I did not know that I was a guest, and I was greedy.

This poem condenses the emotions after the fall of the country and the understanding between life from prosperity to disillusionment.

Qixi in 978 coincided with Li Yu's birthday.

At this time, he had been trapped for three years, and in addition to his emotions, he composed the lyrics "Yu Meiren":

When is the spring flower and autumn moon, and how much do you know about the past? Xiao Lou had another east wind last night, and the homeland could not look back at the middle of the moon.

The carved fence jade should still be there, but Zhu Yan changed. How much sorrow can you have? It is like a river of spring water flowing eastward.

This song laments the destruction of the country and the death of the family, and things are not human.

The first half of life, joy and emptiness. In the second half of his life, his thoughts were heavy.

Helplessly, this world is changeable.

It was also this poem that harmed Li Yu's life and became his masterpiece.

When Song Taizong heard this, he was furious. In his view, Li Yu was not willing to become a courtier of the Great Song Dynasty, and had the intention of plotting against the country.

Therefore, Song Taizong threw the lead medicine into the wine and gave It to Li Yu to take.

After drinking, Li Yu convulsed in pain and suffocated.

After Song Taizong possessed Xiao Zhou, he could not get her heart and hated Li Yu very much.

After Li Yu's death, Xiao Zhouhou was devastated. After guarding her filial piety, she went to Huangquan together.

Li Yu was born in Qixi and also died in Qixi, which lasted for 41 Spring and Autumn Festivals.

In the end, Li Yu turned into smoke and rain and scattered in Jinling.

【History of Guan Xin Ming】

Emperor Zhou married Li Yu at the age of 19 to the age of 29 with hatred. She gave Li Yu the best years of a woman's life.

After Empress Zhou's death, Li Yu wrote a tribute to express endless thoughts and love.

Li Yu was fond of Empress Zhou, but not specifically. I don't know if Xiao Zhou has a guilty heart for his sister after xiao Zhou?

Xiao Zhouhou followed Li Yu and lived for a total of 13 years, experiencing imprisonment together and being occupied by Emperor Taizong of Song.

In contrast, Xiao Zhouhou is not as happy as his sister, at least when his sister and Li Yu are together, they are full of true feelings.

Fading glitz and trapped in square inches, Li Yu's words opened widely.

He was blunt and profound, and put together a few simple words to create a sad picture.

As the saying goes, "Adversity is a good thing."

Especially like, his "Meet Huan Lin Hua Thanks Chun Hong".

Historically, Li Yu is a controversial figure. Some people think that he is a failed monarch and powerless to govern the country.

Indeed, he should have cared about his deeds, not the love of his children.

However, fate has played tricks, and he has been sentimental all his life, but he has finally misled the country and himself.

Some people say that Li Yu is naïve and does not understand politics, so he will write down the word "homeland" to bring himself the disaster of killing himself.

Thinking about it, he may have wanted to find a way for himself to die. When he was trapped in the north, he was humiliated in the cold wind and rain.

In a dream, the king of thin life only wants to use words to kill himself.

Later generations called Li Yu the "Emperor of Ancient Words".

It is precisely because of the twists and turns that he can write famous passages that mourn the ages.

His fate, on the other hand, was involuntary.

If the crown prince had lived a long life, if he had not been born in the imperial family, Li Yu would have lived a life of wanton style. What do you think?
