preface

From the medium tank to the artillery, light (crisp) surplus (leather) seems to be a consistent feature of the "World of Tanks" F series tanks, and the high level of maneuverability that replaces heavy armor in actual combat can always play an unexpected miracle.

But now it seems that there is more and more evidence to point to the fact that F-series tanks are not all high-speed, flexible and lightly armored, but there is another batch of heavy, slow, but powerful alternatives!

F Series Mysterious Heavy Tank Line Outflow? The real land battleship docked

For example, this one!

What makes having models, icons, and even these "alternative tanks", or "land battleships", that have appeared at events end up stillborn? What are some of the features they can't refuse that can be called unique in the game?

Or what will they look like in parallel worlds? Well, without further ado, no more gossip!

The bumpy journey of the four brothers

Veteran captains may remember that during the 2017 Halloween event "Leviathan Invasion", two unique F-series tanks with multi-turret mechanics appeared. They are the second protagonist of today: "Franken", that is, the FCM F1, an F-series heavy tank; "Stein", the F-series heavy tank Char 2C.

From left to right:

Char 2C、FCM F1、FCM 1A、AMX TC 1939。

As we all know, all tanks in World of Tanks have a designated code with an initial + number, which can be read by the captains at the beginning of the video file. In the F series code list, there is a gap between F75 (Chatiron 25A) and F81 (AMX 65T).

You know what? In the Leviathan Invasion version of the game files, FCM F1 and Char 2C account for F80 and F77 codes, respectively. Four positions, four icons, isn't that a coincidence!

Simply put, the multi-turret four brothers are just behind the AMX 65T.

The reasonable conclusion of the author's speculation is already ready to come. Yes, the current version of the AMX 65T was preceded by the AMX M4 1945, but this may not have been the case:

Starting from The IV level, the F series had FCM 1A, Char 2C, AMX TC 1939, FCM F1 four multi-turret heavy tanks as the front transition tank, to the VIII class return to the AMX 65T.

It is only the immaturity of the multi-turret mechanism, or the play characteristics of the follow-up tanks are not "multi-turret", or the multi-turret tanks are difficult to balance, etc., they have been hidden in the snow so far, and most of the commanders are difficult to see the real body...

Maybe?

Although "World of Tanks" has not yet had many turret tanks installed, this does not prevent us from doing things in this day, completing this guillotine line with historical tanks and drawing tanks, and incidentally also introducing only models and icons, or simply only icons flowing out of a few.

Level IV: FCM 1A (icons existed, modeling not seen)

F Series Mysterious Heavy Tank Line Outflow? The real land battleship docked

Bulkiness and bulkiness are the hallmarks of these tanks.

Its shape is always reminiscent of the FT-17, in fact, FCM 1A is indeed the brother of the FT-17, but it is stronger, larger, and more bulky, equipped with a 105 mm gun and 35 mm of frontal armor, which was quite excessive at the end of World War I, and it was quite visible in the early days of World War II.

As for "World of Tanks", we also have to add the identity of a heavy tank to it, that is, the expected extremely high HP value, you know this is a fourth-level room! 105 mm gun! So it can be guessed that the FCM 1A's super blood exchange ability can only be improved by maneuvering to balance.

V-class: Char 2C (icons already available, modeled already)

Much like the FCM 1A above? Like that's right.

The result of the development of FCM 1A is Char 2C. The tank weighed 69 tons and was designed to break through the envisioned no-man's land filled with trenches, barbed wire and mines.

This idea is of course completely outdated in the era of Blitzkrieg, but the Char 2C is not worthless: the wartime Char 2C has a maximum of 90 mm of front armor, and the side armor has reached 65 mm, and the characteristics of the blood-changing wound king have begun to appear.

In terms of weapons, the Char 2C's historical configuration is not strong: an anti-fire 75 mm gun, and 4 machine guns in the secondary turret, but considering that the Stein event is equipped with a 35 mm automatic gun as a secondary gun (Q or double-click launch), it should be more powerful when it is fully integrated.

Level VI: AMX TC 1939 (icons already available, modeled not)

Players print a model of the AMX TC 1939 based on a line drawing.

The historical AMX TC 1939 lost to FCM F1 in the competition, so only drawings remained and no prototype was built.

Its overall design height is similar to that of the B1 tank, but the front armor is reinforced to 90 mm, the main gun caliber is the same, and the rear sub-turret secondary gun caliber is 47 mm.

Overall, the AMX TC 1939 turret configuration is impressive, but the real highlight is still to come, and presumably the captains won't stay in the sixth level for long, right?

Level VII: FCM F1 (icons already available, modeled already)

F Series Mysterious Heavy Tank Line Outflow? The real land battleship docked

This is the end of the F-Series multi-turret line that is closest to reality.

The F Series' last victorious multi-turret heavy tank program before the war, and it was it that actually entered production, the FCM F1. Although no real car was ever built (with wooden models), the ARL 44 was designed later in the war with its technical achievements, which you must be quite familiar with.

Back to the point, the secondary turret of the FCM F1 is in front, and the secondary armament is a 47 mm gun, and the rate of fire is quite high; The main turret was rear, armed with a 90 mm gun with a height penetration depth.

Of course, this may be both a "whiteboard" configuration and a "complete body", whether it is strong or weak depends on the balance.

It's really long...

Strength or weakness aside, the FCM F1 has indeed played the full characteristics of the multi-turret heavy tank line: bulky, huge amount of health, difficult to break the side armor, thick but vertical turret armor, combined with the extremely high main and secondary gun DPM, the blood exchange maniac is not wrong.

What if you keep going?

Tip: The following content has not been leaked out of official information, which is the author's personal speculation based on historical facts!

VIII级:AMX TC 1940

F Series Mysterious Heavy Tank Line Outflow? The real land battleship docked

Although only the numbers are different, they are completely different from those of my brother in 1939.

After the AMX TC 1939 failed to compete, the product of the redesign was the AMX TC 1940.

Its main side armor is all 100 mm, and the larger main gun is equipped with a 90 mm gun (whiteboard?). ), but there are also records of 105 mm guns installed in historical facts. To be honest, such a large turret, it is not too much to stuff a 120 mm gun, right?

Class IX/X: SEAM 220T Prototype/SEAM 220T

F Series Mysterious Heavy Tank Line Outflow? The real land battleship docked

Comparison of the silhouettes of the Big Macs:

T95 (brown), mouse (red), FCM F1 (blue), SEAM 220T (black).

The SEAM 220T is the most radical solution in the discussion of the development of the F-Series super-heavy tank, as the name suggests: 220 tons. The huge size of the body of course also has matching armament, the SEAM 220T in the historical plan of the main gun is a 138 mm naval gun, and the secondary gun is a 90 mm high-penetration gun (the main gun of the previous tank).

In addition, many communities have also had a "SEAM 220T" login to "World of Tanks" once before, and the whistleblower also described its data in detail, but it was later clarified that it was purely fictional...

epilogue

As mentioned before, for one reason or another, these F-Series super-heavy, multi-turret tanks, which have a very different style from their brothers, did not join World of Tanks.

However, after them, more tanks with other characteristics, even new ones, are still coming to you and me, filling some gaps.

For example...... Inverted drum heavy tank, high-explosive iron head tank annihilation? Hey, these things, let's meet again in the next issue, and we will talk about it in the next issue!
