Pride and Prejudice is a novel by British novelwoman Jane Austen. It's also one of my favorite romance novels.
Pride and Prejudice is Austen's earliest work, she began writing in 1796, titled "The First Impression", and later revised to "Pride and Prejudice". Based on the author's daily life, this work vividly reflects the life and human conditions of The British township in a conservative and isolated state from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century. It has been adapted into movies and TV series many times.
"Pride and Prejudice" depicts the family of the little squire Bennett with five thousand gold in the boudoir, and the heroine is the second daughter Elizabeth. She meets Darcy, a wealthy single nobleman, at the ball, but listens to rumors of Darcy's arrogance and rejects Darcy's pursuit. After some twists and turns, Elizabeth finally lifted her prejudice against Darcy, Darcy also let go of arrogance, and finally a lover finally became a family, which was a beautiful reunion comedy ending.
