Jumping spiders are a large family, there are more than 6,000 species in the world, and most people have seen them. In small spiders, the easiest way to tell if they are jumping spiders is by the shape of their eyes – all jumping spiders have four pairs of eyes, the first two pairs of eyes are particularly large.

These little guys are in our homes, in the cabs of cars. Even when they run at full strength, they are usually not very fast, less noticeable, less intimidating.
Whether you are afraid of spiders or not, you should protect the little jumping spiders at home
First of all, jumping spiders don't make a net in your house.
In addition to using silk as a safety line when jumping, if your home air conditioner is turned on too cold, the jumping spider will build a "small tent" with silk in the corner where you never clean up, and sleep there.
Other times, they will destroy nasty bugs such as flies and mosquitoes in your home for you.
Jumping spiders don't necessarily travel in a straight line when approaching their prey, they may take a circuitous route, sometimes even crossing a blind spot where they can't see their prey — a hunting behavior that is clearly a "high-end game" — and is usually only made by mammals. For an organism with such a small brain, it is extremely rare and incredible.
If you're patient enough, or lucky enough to see them hunting, you'll be amazed. Jumping spiders that don't usually walk very fast can jump very quickly, especially when hunting, jumping and flying like tigers!
After biting their prey, the jumping spiders inject fast-acting venom from their poisonous fangs, leaving the victim with little time to react, and they usually ambush the prey larger than itself.
Rest assured, Venom is specifically designed to subdue prey insects. They almost completely do not bite, even the skin of young children, small teeth will not cause any harm, bites will not cause any symptoms, no more uncomfortable than mosquito bites.
Obviously you can't run fast, why can you jump so fast?
If you compare it with another species that "specializes in jumping", the grasshopper, you will find that the jumping spider does not have such muscular legs.
The "tiger pounce" of the jumping spider does not rely on muscles, but through a perfectly evolved internal hydraulic system - changing the pressure of body fluids (hemolymphs) to stretch the legs and achieve jumps. Most jumping spiders can jump several times the length of their bodies, which means that they all have a powerful heart!
A dance of courtship
Female jumping spiders are absolutely visual in finding objects.
Females are fully dominant, and they are larger than males. Male jumping spiders have feathered , coloured hairs ( especially in peacock spiders ) , tassels on their fore legs , and other bizarre modifications. These traits are used for courtship "dances" that reveal themselves to females.
In addition to displaying colors, jumping spiders perform complex sliding, vibrating, or zigzag movements to attract female spiders. Excellent dance moves hint at male vitality, creativity and elegance.
Males who can improvise complex dance moves before mating are big winners, and according to the latest research, the more complex the dance, the more likely the spider is to find love.
The ability of male jumping spiders to complete complex movements has nothing to do with body size or strength, and female jumping spiders do not look for the largest and strongest male, but look for an object with the best athletic ability and coordination ability.
In an experiment, 7 of the 44 male spider candidates were considered acceptable by female subjects and had unusual, more complex dances.
