The Museum of Islamic Art in Doha is located on an artificial island off the coastline of The Qatari capital, Doha, which was created for him by museum designer I.M. Ceramics and glass craft exhibition area

Most of the works in the exhibition area are ceramics found during archaeological excavations between 1908 and 1914, with works from the Samara, Paka, Tehara and Kansan regions at the forefront of the exhibition area.

The Glass Crafts section begins with Islamic glass crafts from the 9th century AD, as well as Meruk candles from the 15th century AD and glass art from the Ottoman era.
