Xin'an County, Guangzhou Province, is today's Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Open the Kangxi edition of the Xin'an County Chronicle, a 17th-century map of Xin'an County that reveals the mountains, rivers and villages of old Hong Kong. Different from the maps we draw with modern surveying and mapping technology today, it adopts the traditional drawing method of ancient Chinese maps, seeing mountains and painting mountains, seeing water and painting water, and using "stick figure" to image the picture of Xin'an County on the coast of the South China Sea more than 300 years ago.
