Shin's Music founder Shinichi Suzuki

Mr. Shin manufactures all of his products, including planning and manufacturing, at his studio in Tokyo's Katsushika ward. The quality and ease of use pursued by Shin's Music products is beyond the ability of mass-produced products to emulate. With the belief that "the condition for a good sound is the speed of sound", he created a sound with rich musicality.

Shin's Music DUMBLOID is a high-end custom overload guitar effect that incorporates the tones of the legendary Tumble speakers used by the world's top guitarists. The appearance of dumbloids is reminiscent of a real Tumble speaker, which is now very popular, and even guitarists who actually own a Tumble speaker are using it because it is responsive and can capture subtle movements on any finger.

Its DRIVE/TONE and ACCENT knobs are exquisite, and this small pedal seems to be testing the player's abilities. The ability to react to your sweaty face every time you play represents the sound of a "great instrument". It responds well to fast plucked strings, and the mid-range frequency reproduces it well.

Shin's Music has been running this model since the beginning of production, and now there are many different versions, like the Tumble speaker, and we hear a lot of piano fans say, "I don't know which one to choose." "In order to make it easier for everyone to choose their favorite model, we decided to introduce the DIRECTORY OF DUMBLOID here.

The ODSP is equipped with an overload mode SW. It is possible to switch between ODS and SP modes, and this version is manufactured with a special board. Its sound is straight and rich, unlike the regular version.

Overload mode SW gives a normal GAIN sound in SP mode and Hi-GAIN sound in ODS mode. The color is gold shell with black panel, the appearance is gorgeous.

This model reproduces the sound of the Dumble speakers. It has a wider adjustable range than standard models and outputs rich overtones.

In addition to JAZZ/ROCK, the timbre mode SW consists of three types of SW, such as BRT (bright) and DEEP (low- and medium frequency conversion), reminiscent of The Tumble speaker. The color is a special emerald suede with a black panel.

DUMBLOID SPECIAL

A mini-dial has been added to the Special. It is based on the legendary Overdrive Special's famous jazz/rock sound switch. In the "Jazz" position, the switch produces a "more rounded" sound, while the "Rock" position provides a softer IF characteristic, especially in the overload state.

The effect has already been used by John Mayer, Brad Paisley, Marcus King, Justin Timberlake, Melissa Etheridge, John Shanks, Frankie Ballard, and others, and Carlos Santana wants to use it because his own Tumble speaker is not so good that his wife gave it as a gift.

DUMBLOID STD

As you can imagine, this pedal is based on the legendary Tumble sound. Just plug it in and it sounds more gorgeous than you think. It sounds like a real tube, and the smooth compression highlights the nuances of your plucked strings. The STD is a standard model without jazz/ROCK switches.

DUMBLOID "B" Boost Special

In response to the musician's request, Shin created a Boost version based on the Special model, adding a special boost circuit to preserve the nuances of the Dumblioid sound. It comes with an output excitation knob (and a jazz/rock switch).

The incentive mode, which can be toggled with a foot switch, is supported by many musicians, including Richie Sambora.

The timbre of this effect was inspired by Larry Carlton's timbre and tailored to him. It sounds sweeter and has a wider range than STD.

Its tone is not too dry, and it is a bit wet and shiny, using different parts from other models to express more delicate nuances.

DUMBLOID Over Drive Special

This model was an overload model for players of the 80s who needed more gain and enhanced bass tones. This model has more gain and saturation gain than stDs for a smoother sense of overload, and it is popular with players who want a smoother, higher gain sound than the STD itself.

The interior parts have been reconfigured for richer midranges and brightness, giving guitarists the true loudspeaker-like super overload sound they want. It was supported by many musicians such as Oz Noy and Allen Hinds.
