On the eve of the 2022 Tour de France, Kask, a well-known Italian helmet brand, released its classic helmet with a limited number of colors, valegro, and limited to 3328. This is inspired by the total length of this year's Tour de France, 3328 km, symbolizing one per kilometer, each helmet is special, and at the back of the helmet there is a progressive number that is the special number of each helmet.
The Kask Valegro helmet actually debuted at the Tour de France five years ago and has been used by three Sky team drivers to win the Tour de France championship since its release: Chris Froome (2017), Geraint Thomas (2018) and Egan Bernal (2019).
The latest generation of Valegro helmets, designed and built for the 2017 Grand Tour, has a sophisticated design that provides riders with maximum ventilation and breathability when crossing the Alps and the Pyrenees during the hot months of July.
Hot weather performance is definitely Valegro's strength, and while it doesn't have aerodynamic properties like the latest Protone Icon, Kask says its aerodynamics are optimized in the wind tunnel and also allow for optimal cooling through its 37 ventilation holes while minimizing drag, and it also has its incredible weight of just 180 grams (S yards).
As the official product of the 2022 Tour de France, Kask Valegro offers a graphic with a special meaning, 7 parallel yellow lines running through the entire helmet, forming a road pattern, representing the rider who has won 7 Tour de France championships using the Kask helmet. They are Wiggins (2012), Froome (2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017), Thomas (2018) and Bernal (2019).
And, each helmet has its own number, corresponding to every kilometer of the 2022 Tour de France.
It also features an internal Restex® Carbon lining that is effectively antistatic, breathable and fast-drying while guaranteeing maximum air permeability and comfort.
This limited edition 3328-piece Ring Law Special Edition Valegro helmet is priced at 2499 yuan and is available in three sizes from S to L for customers to choose from.
