After turning on the noise reduction function, FREE BYRD has a fairly good sound thickness and tone, and the low frequencies are better than the non-noise reduction mode.
Like the mainstream flagship competitors currently on the market, Baiya FREE BYRD does not bring people an obvious sense of oppression after turning on noise reduction, and can get a very quiet and comfortable listening experience when the fan is turned on next to it. Although there is a slight difference between the sound in noise reduction mode and non-noise reduction mode, the two still maintain a relatively uniform sound tone------ natural, neutral, and full of musical vitality. At first glance, it gives people a sense of completely abandoning tradition, but if you listen carefully, the foundation of this sound building is still the old foundation of their family's century-old heritage, but the overall sound style is more suitable for the music of the general public.
Listening to the chair orchestra's new song "Aphrodite", you can clearly feel the power of percussion, solid and powerful, with a thick and fluffy weight. Free BYRD's 10mm large diaphragm high-performance unit provides enough dynamic performance with a lot of praise for its dynamics, strength, volume, sound detail and contour. If you listen to rock, jazz, instrumental SOLO, you will get a very good sense of music. The slightly warmer timbre in its noise-cancelling mode also adds a little color to the overall performance of instruments such as cello and bass saxophone. Overall, it's a little milder than my JVC HA-XC91T, but it's a little more aggressive than the SONY WF-1000XM4.
The sound integrity of the FREE BYRD is very strong, and the details of the mid and high frequencies are not affected by the strong low frequency performance. Switching to Lucy's "2021" is another flavor, silent, lazy, and magnetic sound, excellent transients that embody the beautiful transposition very precisely. No matter how glamorous you are, you can't escape Free byrd's overall control over the perfection of music.
The high frequency properly maintains the flagship level of 2,000 yuan, bright and clear, rich in detail, and the texture and layering of high-frequency instruments are very well in place. FREE BYRD gives people a feeling of overall bias in the middle and lower plates, but if you listen closely, you will find that it is worthy of Baiya, and it is not sloppy for high-frequency processing.
The soundstage is natural and relaxed, the instrument positioning and knotting are remarkable, and with an excellent low- and medium-frequency atmosphere, it is best to listen to some small chamber music or classical instrumental SOLO. In my personal opinion, the overall sound style of FREE BYRD is somewhat similar to that of the Philips Fidelio T1, which is not ostentatious but by no means conservative, and can portray different musical genres appropriately through steady and natural sound performance.

FREE BYRD is obviously a thick and thin product, although it is more grounded in tone, but from the sound quality, it is not difficult to see that it has always adhered to Baya's neutral and natural sound quality philosophy and tuning concept over the years, adhering to a German century-old HIFI brand for the strict pursuit of sound quality.
Excellent noise reduction performance, Bluetooth 5.2 protocol, automatic pairing when out of the warehouse, 11 hours of long battery life (with the charging compartment can get up to 20 hours of battery life), touch operation and dual mode switching and other functions, so that this headset comprehensive experience has no shortcomings.
