On the evening of 7 May 2022, The Casa Batlló in Barcelona welcomed a stunning projection light show. Themed "The Casa Batlló: Living Architecture", the light show, created by Refik Anadol Studio, draws inspiration from the legacy of the architect Gaudí itself, using advanced 3D Mapping technology to give the Batlló House façade a brilliant digital artistic projection, providing an unforgettable sensory experience for the audience.
Refik Anadol uses AI data sculptures and paintings, live audiovisual performances and immersive installations to activate this ancient building, allowing digital art to give the World Heritage site a new dimension and a new visual experience.
"Casa Batllo: Living Architecture" is a project with an exclusive soundtrack, audio story, installation and digital room, also presented in the form of dynamic NFT/AI data sculptures, using real-time data from the façade to reimagine the iconic Gaudí building. This makes Casa Batlló the first UNESCO World Heritage Site to be digitally interpreted in the form of dynamic NFTs.
