According to the APP Circular on Infringement of Users' Rights and Interests (batch 4 of 2022, batch 24 of the total), in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Cybersecurity Law, the Telecommunications Regulations, the Provisions on the Protection of Personal Information of Telecommunications and Internet Users, and other laws and regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized third-party testing agencies to inspect mobile Internet applications (APP) such as life services and daily tools that the masses are concerned about, and put forward rectification requirements for 368 APPS that were found to infringe on the rights and interests of users. Up to now, there are still 84 APP models that have not completed rectification as required, and are hereby notified.
The above APP should complete the rectification and implementation work before June 8. If rectification is not made within the time limit, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize and carry out relevant disposal work in accordance with laws and regulations.
