East kitchen urn tile wash green lotus,

Into the filling homogeneous glutinous rice and.

It must be Duan Yang pinching his finger near,

With Bao Chu Zong sacrifice.

Composed "Bao Zong" flat up into the rhyme of seven, flat water rhyme under the flat sound: five songs rhyme.

Commentary:

In the kitchen urn are washed lotus leaves

The filling and glutinous rice have been evenly blended

The Dragon Boat Festival is approaching with its fingers pinched

With the custom of wrapping rice dumplings to worship Qu Yuan

Note: 1. East Kitchen: Interpreted as kitchen. Ancient, the kitchen is in the east of the main room.

2. Chu Zong: i.e. Zongzi. According to legend, Qu Yuan died on the 5th of May, and the Chu people mourned it, and on this day they used bamboo tubes to hold rice and throw water as a sacrifice, and later called Zongzi "Chu Zongzi".
