Qi Jun, formerly known as Pan Xizhen, was born in Ouhai in 1917 and went to Taiwan in 1949. Qi Jun's creation is known for his nostalgic prose, more than 10 articles have been selected for language textbooks in the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and the TV series adapted from the novella "Orange Red" has caused a sensation on both sides of the taiwan strait after it was broadcast. The Ou opera version of "Orange Red" was adapted by the Wenzhou Ou Opera Art Research Institute, and the lead actor Cai Xiaoqiu won the highest gold prize in Zhejiang opera with this drama.
"The Qijun Research Center of Chuo University has repeatedly promoted academic seminars, reading Qijun activities, opening courses, and publishing related research books." Professor Li Ruiteng of National Central University in Taiwan shared the publication, commentary and research of Qijun in Taiwan in the keynote speech. In the view of Chen Lijun, associate professor of Zhejiang University, Qijun's growth experience in Wenzhou and Hangzhou shows different emotional experiences and spiritual belonging in her works, and her "mother's hand" provides all the foundations for the beauty of Wenzhou's homeland, and the "father's gaze" in hangzhou's homeland life becomes the foundation and motivation for her to expand the world. Experts and scholars such as Li Ruiteng, Pan Yinqi, Fang Zhong, Chen Lijun, Peng Xiaoyan, Li Liang, Yuan Yonglin, Zhu Jiawen, Zhang Fangsong, etc., carried out wonderful expositions on Qijun research, Qijun works and literary education, Qijun and hometown from the perspective of world Chinese literature in the keynote speech session, and dozens of experts and scholars participated in group discussions.
According to reports, the second Qijun Research Summit Forum is committed to building a high-end dialogue platform for Qijun research for cross-strait interaction, absorbing the latest research results of experts and scholars from all over the world, effectively improving the research level of Qijun, expanding cultural horizons, accumulating ouhai cultural heritage, promoting the pace of construction of ouhai cultural strong area and "cultural Wenzhou" under the background of the new era, and leading economic and social development with cultural effects. At the closing ceremony, Sun Haohao, dean of the School of Humanities of Wenzhou University, said that compared with the first forum held in the late autumn of 2018, the experts participating in the discussion of this forum were more colorful, not only doubling the number, but also including the post-50s, post-60s, post-70s, post-80s, post-90s, including the two sides of the taiwan strait and Japan, South Korea and other countries, including topics involving ancient and modern China and foreign countries, including research and inheritance.
