Zhang Dichun, a security guard of the Municipal Landscaping Service Center, introduced that at about 8:00 a.m., when he was inspecting the artificial lake in Zhongshan Park, he found a large fish floating on the surface of the water in a circle, so he drove a boat to check closely and found that this was a huge baby fish.
In order to protect the safety of the baby fish, he and his colleague Li Qiang fished the baby fish ashore and notified the Jiangyang District Agriculture and Rural Bureau.
Looking at the baby fish in front of him, security guard Li Qiang suddenly remembered that this baby fish may be an "old friend". He recalled that he often heard a child-like cry at the lake when he was on duty at night, and today he saw this baby fish and suddenly realized.
It has been released into the Yangtze River
Soon, the staff of the Agricultural Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade of the Jiangyang District Agricultural and Rural Bureau rushed to the scene and inspected the body of the baby fish. After measurement, this baby fish is about 1.3 meters long and weighs about 30 pounds, which is the largest baby fish found in Jiangyang District this year.
After examination, the baby fish was in good physical condition, with a slight scar on the left hind limb that could heal itself in a short period of time, and the staff decided to release it.
Wang Qi, a staff member of the Agricultural Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Brigade of the Jiangyang District Agricultural and Rural Bureau, told reporters that the water ecological environment of the Yangtze River is more suitable for the growth and reproduction of baby fish than the artificial lake, so it is brought to the Yangtze River. At about 12:00 noon, the staff released the baby fish back into the Yangtze River on the barge of the Changhang Public Security.
