All international travellers arriving in Victoria, whether vaccinated or not, do not need to quarantine.

  • Rapid antigen testing or nucleic acid testing within 24 hours of arrival in Australia is strongly recommended and there is no need for self-isolation while waiting for results.
  • If symptoms of COVID-19 develop within 7 days of arrival in Australia, nucleic acid or rapid antigen testing is mandatory. If a nucleic acid test is performed, self-isolate until you receive a negative result. If the rapid antigen test is positive, the Health Authority results must be reported.
  • Wearing a mask when needed allows you to transit directly to another state or territory upon arrival in Victoria

Nsw

International travelers who are not fully vaccinated do not need to be quarantined at the hotel.

Therefore, international travelers need to:

  • Isolate at home immediately
  • Rapid antigen testing (RAT) or nucleic acid (PCR) testing is performed within 24 hours of arrival and isolation continues until a negative result is received. Isolation can be ended upon receiving a negative result.
  • Do not visit high-risk locations for at least 7 days upon arrival. For the next 7 days, rapid antigen testing is strongly recommended within 24 hours of visiting the premises.

Queensland

If you don't have COVID-19 symptoms after entering Queensland, you don't need to quarantine, as long as:

  • Tested negative within 24 hours of arrival
  • Test for any symptoms within 24 hours
  • Do not visit any high-risk places (hospitals, nursing homes, facilities for the disabled, prisons, and detention centers) for 7 days.
