Singapore's Home Office confirmed that on the 16th of this month, Indonesian missionary Somad was denied entry into Singapore and returned to Batam Island on the same day.
On the same day, Somad and six travel companions entered the country from the Dana Merah Ferry Terminal. The group was subsequently denied entry and returned to Batam Island by ferry on the same day.
The reason is that Somad preaches extremism and segregationism, which is unacceptable in Singapore, which has a multi-racial and religious nature.
Somad preached that suicide bombings were legitimate in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and were an act of "martyrdom."

On the afternoon of December 23, 2017, Abdul was denied entry upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport in China. When he and two assistants got off the plane, they were stopped by immigration staff, and then interrogated separately, asking him to open his wallet and ask him what cards were in his wallet. One of the cards with Arabic characters and a star logo was suspicious.
