Under the deliberate control of the winery's production, solid and rich fruit aromas are obtained, with full red cherry, pomegranate jam, violet floral aromas and complex ore aromas. The tannins are ripe and rounded yet firm and resistant to aging, and you can feel the clarity and elegant structure of the wine, which is accompanied by the smoked and coffee aromas given by the new oak barrels, and is an exciting grand garden wine, which is excellently rated by BH and IWC.
Located on a steep slope and facing south, with good drainage and plenty of sunshine, Château Maniane's Saint Denis Islea is rated as the most elegant and balanced wine in the winery's entire range, and is the winery's proudest achievement.
Since 1996, the winery has used a biodynamic approach to manage vineyards in conjunction with the cycle of the moon. The winery's use of cooked clay pots to guide biodynamic techniques has been reported by newspapers and magazines such as Le Figaro, the French Wine Yearbook, and Burgundy Today. Named to Wine & Spirits' 2020 Top 100 Global Wineries. The winery's wines have been highly rated and highly rated by major French professional wine magazines.
