There was an emperor who even had to fear three points when the prince of Yan, who was in charge of mortal life and death, even paid homage to him, who was this mortal emperor?

He is Tang Taizong Li Shimin! However, a mere mortal emperor, where did he come from with such a big face?

This happened in the tenth episode of "Journey to the West", when the Dragon King of Jinghe made a bet with Yuan Shoucheng, Yuan Tiangang's uncle, and Yuan Shoucheng accurately calculated the time and point of rain, but the Dragon King, who was in charge of the rain, was dissatisfied and secretly modified the timing points of the rain, winning Yuan Shoucheng, but was also beheaded by the Jade Emperor.

Because the beheading officer was Wei Zheng, the Dragon King Tuomeng begged Tang Taizong Li Shimin to save his life, Li Shimin originally wanted to play chess to delay Wei Zheng, but unexpectedly Wei Zheng first cut off the Dragon King's head in the dream, so Li Shimin was entangled by the dragon king's ghost.

Later, guanyin bodhisattva rescued, in order to completely get rid of the entanglement of the Dragon King, only then did the later Tang Taizong Mansion return the soul, Li Shimin's soul went to the underground, the Ten Halls Yama King heard of Li Shimin's arrival, rushed to the outside of the hall to greet, as a god to the mortals.

Then again, how could Li Shimin make the immortals respectful? There are two interpretations:

First, Li Shimin is a person of Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Why is it so, a mortal whose Yang shou has not been exhausted can enter the Di Mansion, which was originally a bureau set up by Guanyin, this happened before Li Shimin sent the Tang monk Xi Tian to learn the scriptures, at this time Li Shimin can be said not a firm believer in Buddhism, but he experienced the dream of the Dragon King, the beheading of Wei Zheng, the door god town house, the requisition of the emperor to enter the Di Mansion, the judge changed his life; later he also witnessed the miracle of Liu Quan going to die and enter the Di Mansion to offer melons, and the King of Yan resurrecting Liu Quan's wife!

This series of interlocking experiences from worry to joy made Li Shimin change his view of Buddhism, and only then did he elect Tang monks to go to the Western Heavens to learn the scriptures.

Guanyin Bodhisattva appeared, more like instructing Li Shimin how to save himself, with her skills can easily save this human emperor who is entangled by ghosts, but deliberately let him risk entering the mansion alone, then there is only one explanation, Guanyin is intentional, the purpose is to guide Li Shimin to believe in Buddhism, since there is Guanyin's arrangement, then Yama also has to fear three points in front of Li Shimin, after all, there is "backstage" support.

Another explanation is that the reason why Prince Yan respected Li Shimin was because of Li Shimin's past life status.

Many of the characters in "Journey to the West" are the reincarnation of gods and immortals, the past life of the Tang monk is the golden cicada, the past life of the Pig Eight Precepts is the marshal of the canopy, and the past life of Li Shimin is also unbelievable, and it is said that he is the Ziwei Emperor of Taoism.

In the Taoist system of immortals, Sanqing is the highest-ranking god, and under Sanqing, it is the Four Emperors of Taoism, including Ziwei The Great, who is the head of the Four Emperors, who is responsible for the change of stars and the climate of the four hours.

Although The Ziwei Emperor assisted the Jade Emperor in his work, in terms of internal rank, it was almost on an equal footing with the Jade Emperor, and compared with the Low Rank of the King of Yan in front of these two great gods, not to mention that the Ziwei Emperor also had the responsibility of the subordinate capital, so it was still the direct leadership of the King of Yan.

The mortal experience of Li Shimin and Tang Monk was nothing more than a necessary cultivation for the immortals, and when the cultivation was completed, they would still return to their positions, and for this reason, presumably King Yan would not dare to offend his own leadership.

The same example also happened to Tang Monk, when The Tang Monk passed by Zhen Yuanzi's Wuzhuang Temple, Zhen Yuanzi still did not forget to remind the apprentice to prepare ginseng fruits that only ripen once in nine thousand years, why is the Taoist god so attached to a mortal? In the final analysis, it is still hindered by the fact that Tang Monk was a disciple of the Buddha in his previous life.

Zhen Yuanzi Daxian was so respectful before his post, not to mention the insignificant King of Yan, so when Li Shimin arrived at the mansion, the King of Yan was not only a waiter before and after the saddle, but also gave Li Shimin twenty years of YangShou, which is not a typical "patting horse ass"?

Therefore, not only did the King of Yan respect and respect in front of Li Shimin, presumably most of the immortals had to give three points of courtesy when they saw Li Shimin, who said that the immortals were unrealistic?
