As can be seen from the video shared by NHK's official Twitter, the photographer noticed a flying fish jumping out of the sea, so he pointed the camera at the flying fish that was close to the surface of the sea and began to glide in the air, and as a result, it lasted for 45 seconds, and it was still side by side with the cruise ship at 30 kilometers per hour.
NHK also said on Twitter that this is their special yacht to the surroundings of Yakushima island in Kagoshima Prefecture in order to shoot a nature show, this picture was originally only due to the needs of the program content, but the photographer gave a special shot, and did not expect to capture the historical picture.
Prior to this, the longest record for the flying fish to continue to glide was 42 seconds, which was observed by American researchers in 1920, and it was finally broken after nearly 100 years.
