In Binh Thiồng District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Ho Khue Architects designed three buildings measuring 8,000 square meters. The building includes facilities for the production of Desino clothing and accessories.
The aim is to provide employees with a high-quality, comfortable working environment in a beautiful building, while reducing the cost of cooling.
The building was converted from an old factory that had not been used for a long time.
The owners asked to transform the old factory into an ideally beautiful and cool workplace, while having a natural green space surrounded by lots of green trees and plants.
The open space belongs to the design working group, and the free movement space and visual enjoyment can stimulate new ideas for employees.
Natural fresh green and soft lighting will effectively improve work efficiency.
In order to reduce the work pressure of workshop workers, the architect proposed a new concept, the entire work area by improving the sense of visual extension to make the working environment lively, rather than using partition walls or enclosed rooms as a separation.
Department managers and workers can see each other, increase opportunities for interaction, and eliminate workers' sense of being always exploited and unfair to their work.
The office building, as the core of Factory 1, is located near the main entrance of the park workshop. Architects used single columns to design and renovate workshop spaces.
In addition, in the design, for a single expression of the building façade, we offset the columns by 3 meters.
The second floor is designed for office space, management and the board of directors. The use of glass curtain walls in factories can promote the relationship between workers and increase the frequency of interaction.
The first floor has a creative space for displaying samples, a gathering point and a rest area.
The garden in the middle provides a feeling of being lifted up and healthy for everyone. It also attracts customers to come and see the production line and such a creative company and its products.

The two floors are connected by a huge central atrium. In this way, a closer relationship with nature is achieved. It also allows customers to feel the vitality and vitality of the company and its employees.
The walls use bee stone with excellent air permeability, which allows for natural ventilation of the entire structure. The mixed garden of vines fills the entire façade, and their presence reduces the heat of sunlight penetrating the room.
Elevation
Trees cover buildings exposed to sunlight from the sides, creating a green appearance.
Plant-covered walls can help employees feel comfortable and relaxed while doing their best to produce high-quality goods.
The roof garden not only helps cool down the building, but also adds a vegetable garden to provide healthy food for the workers.
