Mr. Li Qihua began to learn drama at the age of 9, and Xu Biyun, whose reputation was comparable to that of the four famous dans, taught her basic drama, thus laying a very strong foundation in singing and acting. In 1947, Xu Biyun introduced Li Qihua to Master Cheng Yanqiu, who praised Youjia, because Cheng did not accept female disciples at that time, but did not include Li Qihua under his wing, Mr. Cheng still personally guided Li Qihua and Li Shiji, making Li Qihua more mature in art. Since then, Li Qihua has established the Xuecheng Gate and studied the Cheng Sect, which has seen quite a skill. This skill can be seen in its singing voice. When Li Qihua performed "Spring Girl's Dream", his voice was high, such as the frost crane, his voice was quiet, such as the sound of the empty valley spring, high and low, and the control was free; the four voices of the sharp group were properly pinched. Among the disciples of Cheng Men, Li Qihua was an authentic "conservative", singing, reading, and being a Master of Cheng, not one step beyond Lei Chi. After more than 70 years of study, Li Qihua said: "I never dared to change Cheng Yanqiu's art, even if it was a little bit, I didn't have that ability and level." Therefore, Li Qihua performed "Spring Girl's Dream", everywhere to see the square circle, rules and strict.
The biggest feature and advantage of Mr. Li Qihua is the rules. She is quite particular about phonology, voicing, vocalization, four sounds are extremely accurate, and her singing is like having a breath to resist, truly lasting. It sounds soft on the outside and tough on the inside, and the mood is moving. The bite is exquisite and the mouth is clear. The tone is slightly thinner, so it may not be so gripping at first hearing. Listening carefully, it is easy to get addictive. Mr. Li Qianghua devoted his life to learning and studying Chengpai art, and has successively engaged in the performance and teaching of Chengpai repertoire in Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai and other places, and has contributed to the everbright of Chengpai art.
At the age of 83, Mr. Li Qianghua performed the hour-long "Spring Girl's Dream" - just after 9 p.m., Zhang Shi, played by Li Lao, appeared. When she walked out quickly from the side curtain strip with her back, two or three steps later, she immediately turned around and appeared, and there was immediate applause below, and people marveled: Li Qihua's spirit was still there. Elder Li, who has not acted on stage for more than ten years, was still a little nervous at the beginning. Fortunately, she has a solid foundation, although she is nervous, she has not spilled soup and leaked water.
At this point, the five "Cheng Second Generation" (Wang Yinqiu, Zhao Rongchen, Xin Yanqiu, Li Shiji, li Qihua) all went to heaven and met with the Cheng Master they loved and loved. Her life was low-key, indisputable, and lived a transcendent life.
