LONGi as a solar technology company, why should it enter the layout of hydrogen energy, but also to talk about a fundamental logic, the fundamental logic is to solve the now increasingly aggravating climate problems and environmental problems, if this problem is solved, the most fundamental logic should talk about its carbon logic, carbon logic inside, the entire carbon emissions are about 10 billion tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and 40% of this is from electricity, and only 41% of the electricity is from renewable energy, only 12% is from photovoltaics, Wind power is only a small part, combined with the current situation, it is still difficult to only develop wind power photovoltaics to solve the problem of carbon reduction. And the current situation, 2020 renewable energy hydrogen production, should be less than 1%, electrolysis of water to hydrogen is only a little bit of a few percent, this is not the same thing, electrolytic aluminum is from thermal power, or other power sources, but the real proportion of hydrogen from renewable energy is very low, according to incomplete statistics of electrolysis of water to hydrogen The entire installed electrolyzer equipment is about 2.5 G watts in the country, and now green hydrogen is 1%, which may be less, and by 2050, the proportion of green hydrogen is more than 70%, which is such a proportion.

Can not simply compare them, because electrolyzed water hydrogen added to the original coal chemical process, it can bring more positive impact, but also reduce coal, more carbon atoms into methanol, rather than carbon dioxide, so the overall can also reduce coal, so the price of adding green hydrogen can not be simply compared with the cost of coal to hydrogen, but also consider the positive effects it brings, green hydrogen to 12 yuan to 15 yuan can already be compared with coal to hydrogen, is such a situation.

Look at some of the proportions of thermal power in the power grid now, why is it said that electrolysis of water to hydrogen is not really green hydrogen, because it comes from network electricity, most of the network power comes from thermal power, Xinjiang thermal power accounts for 80%, Inner Mongolia accounts for 85%, the whole country accounts for 67% or 68%, so that the power grid to produce hydrogen is not carbon reduction, it is more than coal to hydrogen emissions, so it is still using renewable energy to produce hydrogen, so you can achieve a zero-carbon logic.

Combined with these situations just now, LONGi will believe that the development of hydrogen energy is a fundamental direction, the most ideal way to use photovoltaic power generation intermittent hydrogen production, while cooperating with large-scale hydrogen storage, to solve the final chemical plant or hydrogen enterprises continue to use hydrogen scenarios, which is the future development direction we believe.

If you want to make the development of green hydrogen faster, the most critical problem to solve the cost problem, LCOH in the most basic problem, how to solve the electricity price problem that just accounted for 70%, the core is to reduce the cost of photovoltaic power generation, it mainly contains two parts, one part is the system cost, the other part to improve the power generation during the life cycle, such as improving the efficiency of the battery, or the way of double-sided power generation, or the advanced tracking bracket, through this to reduce the cost of photovoltaics, and now the current photovoltaic feed-in tariff is more than two cents, More than three cents, the real technical cost is only a few cents, and the other is a non-technical cost, including land rent, financing costs, etc., so now the real technical cost only accounts for a small part of it.

In addition to reducing the price of electricity, there is also a reduction in the cost of electrolyzed water hydrogen production equipment, and the second is to improve the efficiency of the electrolyzer and reduce its power consumption, both of which achieve the reduction of real LCOH.

From a global point of view, the current LCOH is the lowest region in the Middle East, why did you just mention that the Saudi electricity price is as low as 1.04 cents, if you really achieve 1.04 cents, 6 points 7 one kilowatt hour of electricity, even if the electricity consumption reaches 5.0 degrees of electricity per cubic meter, it is lower than the cost of coal-to-hydrogen.
