Ruins of the Sassanid Dynasty in western Iran

Sassanid Ruins Pol-e Dokhtar is the name of a bridge located in the Iranian province of Lorestan (Persian: لرستان, English: Lorestan Province), after which the site is named.

The bridge was repaired during the reign of Shapur II (310-379 AD), mainly thanks to King Shapur. The historic site is now registered in the National Heritage List of Iran, Number 1678.
