The only girl
In the summer of 2017, Zhu Huishan changed her major from "e-commerce" to "automobile maintenance", becoming the only female student majoring in automobile maintenance at Guangzhou Traffic Technician College. It was a decision that changed the trajectory of her life. "I am more active and mischievous, I don't like that kind of quiet profession, and I am more interested in the practical profession." She said.
In the field of car maintenance, girls have a clear disadvantage, that is, lack of physical fitness. Zhu Huishan remembers that once when the tire was removed, the male classmate immediately carried it to install the screws, and she carried it for a long time before she installed it. Zhu Huishan was not convinced, taking advantage of the gap between the male students in the class to rest, and still insisted on practicing. This momentum also impressed the teacher, asking her if she wanted to join the car painting competition class. At first, Zhu Huishan just held the mentality of learning: watching the senior prepare for the game, helping to sort things out on the side. But slowly, the seeds of car painting were also buried in her heart.
Won the "National Technical Expert"
Car painting pays attention to four elements: speed, angle, overlap, and distance. Each element not only tests Zhu Huishan's theory and practice, but also tests her adaptability, which requires a long period of accumulation.
Outside of the books, Zhu Huishan practiced 10 hours a day. "Practice scraping ash, control the strength of your fingers, make your fingers more familiar; spray water often, simulate spraying, and make your hands more stable." The training was hard, but Zhu Huishan enjoyed it. Once when I was still training there at two o'clock in the morning, the instructor came up to me and asked me, why don't you sleep? I was in a very excited state, the details were not done well, and I had to stay up all night to get it right. "
In the car painting competition, the competition duration often lasts 4 hours, so physical fitness is also an important part of Zhu Huishan's training, and daily running and lifting dumbbells are her uninterrupted training courses. In her, the teachers also injected a different kind of expectation. "It was a very touching time because everyone was helping me finish this game, and I thought I must not fail them."
Kung Fu pays off. In 2020, Zhu Huishan won the fifth place in the first national skills competition, and subsequently won the title of "National Technical Expert".
Better
In 2021, Zhu Huishan, as an excellent skilled talent, successfully joined a Guangzhou car company at a leading enterprise employment matchmaking meeting. In the factory, it is not a military training, but a "real coming". But Zhu Huishan was not timid, "because these are all things I have learned, and I understand them." "
At first, seeing that others sprayed a car in 10 minutes, Zhu Huishan also wanted to practice this speed, so she practiced desperately. There were a lot of burrs on the car, and sometimes three fingers would bleed as soon as they slid over, but that didn't stop her practice. With strong skills and hard training, after two weeks, she became a skilled worker; a month later, Zhu Huishan began to bring up "apprentices".
