Two or three cases of award-winning accounts

People in the literary and art circles know that it is not easy for an author to publish a book, or publish a script or a calligraphy painting in a journal (except for those who publish books at their own expense). But if you win an award for one work, it is even more difficult! Because the author has to face the authority of a group of judges, it is their fairness to form a winning prize! I am eighty years old and have experienced various levels of awards for various works, which can be described as a lot of emotions.
In the spring of 1980, the Xiaolu opera "Farewell to Wind and Rain" that I created first made a report to the cadres of the communes attending the county three cadres meeting on the night before going to Weiwei to participate in the performance. The next day, the Linqu County Performance Team rushed to Weifang. The county's three-cadre meeting discussion unconsciously turned to the "topic" of discussing family planning; the cadres protested, saying that the Lu opera "Farewell to The Wind and Rain" was an "anti-party script" and should be criticized. The deputy county magistrate in charge of culture called Weifang with the intention of stopping the play. Feng Kuiye, leader of Linqu County, explained: The Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee has already seen this drama and asked to stage this drama. The key is: "Farewell to the Wind and Rain" received a strong response and won the first prize. Even so, by the early spring of 1981, the secretary of Yeyuan Commune X named "Farewell to the Wind and Rain" as an "anti-party script" at the commune cadre meeting, preparing to organize criticism. What is particularly interesting is that in 1979, the No. 1 document of the Central Committee removed the hat for the rich people, and two years later, the X secretary also named me "the son of the rich peasants", fortunately, after he was transferred, he once entrusted someone to invite me by letter, and it was he who admitted that he was "abrupt", but I strictly refused... Because I was already a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association at that time, the Provincial Drama Association announced "Farewell to wind and rain" as an honorary award, and Liu Zhixia, chairman of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, came to Shu to inquire about the persecution of the author of "Farewell to Wind and Rain". The secretary of the county party committee personally came forward and transferred me away from Yeyuan. "Farewell to Wind and Rain" was subjected to political "wind and rain", and I bid farewell to yeyuan cultural station. This screenplay won an award! What if I don't win?
In 1983, my newly written historical play "Yuan Feng Xing" (writing the story of Wang Anshi's failure to change the law) was published in the Shandong Drama Series. He won the award in the publication's annual awards that year. In the autumn of 1984, in the joint appraisal of the Shandong Provincial Drama Association, Shandong People's Radio and Television Station, "YuanFeng Xing" won the second prize. When I went to Jinan to receive the award (300 yuan, I bought a black-and-white TV set for 298 yuan), the judge, Professor Yan, smiled at me and said, "Among the winners of this award, you have not given gifts." Because I don't know you! I said frankly: "Professor, my monthly salary is thirty-seven yuan and five, Mo said that there is no money to give gifts, and I can't find the judges' door!" After I brought back the TV set, it was the fifth TV set in Zhuangli, but I openly placed it in the courtyard for my neighbors to watch "Huo Yuanjia". Neighbors watched TV while helping me peel the corn husks piled up in the yard... I would like to thank Secretary X, if it were not for his persecution, I would not have been able to write "Yuan Feng Xing". Teng Jingde, deputy director of the Shandong Radio and Television Department, specially selected this drama to make an opera tv film. The director of the literary and art department of the TV station confessed to me: "Old Feng, you should stop looking for Director Teng!" We are afraid to take responsibility for this drama of yours, and we dare not shoot it! "What responsibility is the TV Station Literature and Art Department afraid of for a two-time award-winning drama?" Are you afraid that writing about the lessons of Wang Anshi's failure to change the law will innuendo China's modern reforms will fail? The meeting of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee was held in Linqu, and the comments of the relevant leaders on the historical drama "Yuan Feng Xing" were: "At least it can be asserted: the author of the play is quite courageous." Literary and artistic creation is about courage and talent. "Yuanfeng Xing" finally made me travel freely in the literary world - becoming a member of the Chinese Opera Artists Association and a national second-class screenwriter. I was content.
By 2002, the Allegro drama "Sunning Grain" that I created was rehearsed by the county public security bureau and won the bronze medal. But this award certificate is kept in the county public security bureau, and even if it is published in the Linqu County Newspaper after returning from the honor, there is no name of me as a screenwriter. The script is the "book" of a play, and I regret it.
Coincidentally, in 2014, my 600,000-word novel "Wulin Heroic Martyr Dou Laigeng" won the 14th "Literary and Art Excellence Project" Award of Shandong Province, and the award certificate was also "saved" by the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee. Fortunately, thanks to the help of the county Propaganda Department, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee opened a letter of introduction to prove the award of my "Dou" book, which still made me shudder.....
In July 2020, Beijing Zhengshantang Calligraphy and Painting Institute organized the Famous Tea Zhenglian Calligraphy Competition. I wrote a book called:

Wuyi Mountain, prestige Jishan, Yi world famous tea fragrance five continents.
By 3:15 p.m. on November 6, a phone call came from Beijing: "You have won the lottery!" "I was overjoyed! Because the judges have five directors of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, this shows that my wild cursive calligraphy has also entered the eyes of the judges. This is not just what I often say, "the words are insufficient, the poems are to make up for it". But there was no return on winning the lottery. I was afraid that the local tone was too heavy to make Beijingers understand, so I sent a text message to ask. By December 15th I had just received a box of famous teas. Send another text message for inquiry, and you will not reply. Because the number of winners is limited to 100 people, my winning quota is "top bag". Masayamado's behavior is "not right"! Who am I to blame? Fortunately, I have thought of a famous saying: intentional or unintentional; to live in the world is not to leave. It is said that this box of tea is worth two thousand yuan; I wrote this book, and it is not even worth a thousand yuan! But just by giving tea instead of winning the lottery, I have no right to use this Lianzheng Mountain Hall. Shozando left a handle.
I have worked hard all my life, and I am fortunate to be a writer. Even if it is an award certificate, it can be stacked with the same height as me. However, how many of these award certificates have a high gold content? ashamed! A Wenyou asked, "How do you compare yourself to your ancestor Feng Weimin?" I laughed and said, "Among the Feng characters I am in Linqu are Feng Weimin (the first person to sanqu in the Ming Dynasty) and his fifth brother Feng Weine (who wrote the 156 volumes of the Ancient Poems) who are famous for their "History of Chinese Literature"; can I record the history of literature?" Just like the words in my "Manjiang Hong Jiangnan Pavilion Huaizu": look through the clouds and the end of the day.
