Mayweather's next match will have only 20 fans present and will cost £150,000 per ticket, and Mayweather is really sucking in money.
On May 14, Mayweather will return to the boxing ring against undefeated former professional boxer Don Moore, and incredibly, to create a gimmick for the game, Mayweather actually arranged the match on the helipad at the top of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, 700 feet above sea level.
According to Mayweather, few people at the game site attended, and tickets for his next exhibition match were limited. Each ticket is around £150,000. With tickets so expensive, the event is guaranteed to generate £3 million and live broadcasts are also $14.99. Mayweather dropped out of boxing with a perfect 50-0 record, and he has since made a fortune from two exhibition matches.
Mayweather, 43, once held an exhibition match with Japanese kick boxer Nasugawa Tenshin at Saitama Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, earning $9 million in just three minutes.
Then, in June, the five-tier world champion faced YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul in Miami, where the event reportedly sold a $1 million PPV purchase and won a hefty check for Mayweather for $65 million.
The 15-time world champion has been criticised for his recent boxing exhibition matches, but he defended his career choice.
"I could leave boxing on my own terms and now boxing critics are upset that I'm still able to milk and skill boxing by hosting exhibition matches, and in 16 minutes I can get eight and nine figures from the fruits of my labor." I got the money and went unscathed, so why not? Mayweather said.
Mayweather's match against Moore will reportedly be another eight-legged match.
