Carlos Sainz is confident that he can be as fast as anyone when he fully drives the Ferrari F1-75, but at the moment he admits that he is not 100% comfortable and satisfied with the car.
Sains was strong at the start of the season, winning runners-up in Bahrain and third in Saudi Arabia. However, at the Australian Grand Prix, he withdrew from Lap 2. Later, he made a mistake and hit the wall in the qualifying round of Imola.
But the misfortune was not alone, in the main match of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Sainz backed from the collision with Ricciardo on the first lap, and Ricciardo later apologized for it. Sainstein said he wasn't "100 percent happy" with the 2022 version of Ferrari.
"I'm happy to look like I'm adaptable from the outside, but sitting in the car isn't like that. I still haven't gone as smoothly as I thought, as proof of the mistakes like [in qualifying], maybe I'm not 100% satisfied and fully aware of the car. But I'm still trying. ”

Sainz, who recently renewed a two-year contract with Ferrari, believes that spending more time behind the wheel is the only solution and that there is no "magic weapon" to help him adapt to the car.
Asked if he should adapt to the car or if the team should make it a more suitable style for him, he said:

After two consecutive retirements, Sainz is fifth in the drivers' standings, 48 points behind teammate Leclerc, and we look forward to seeing the once "super stable" Sainz as soon as possible.
