Guyi Garden holds five "Cloud Tour" lectures today to appreciate the "poetry and far away" of Jiangnan Garden

Everyone says that Jiangnan is good, and tourists only meet Jiangnan old. This year marks the 500th anniversary of The Founding of Guyi Garden. The reporter learned from the garden that in this special labor day of fighting the epidemic at home, Guyi Garden joined hands with Shanghai Vocational College of Arts and Crafts to invite experts and scholars in the field of Jiangnan garden culture to hold an online lecture on "Guyi Garden Jiangnan Culture Forum (Online Tencent Conference)" for five consecutive days from today. Through the five "cloud tours", the public can enjoy the poetry in the gardens of Jiangnan, the beauty of the "scenery", the culture of landscape, the culture of architecture and plant culture.

Introduction: Landscape has been given a philosophical meaning in traditional Chinese culture, and has also become a symbol of morality in the minds of ancient scribes, so when they express themselves naturally, whether in paintings or gardens, landscape imagery has become an inevitable aesthetic theme. This lecture traces the ontological characteristics of natural landscapes, explores the scribes' desire for mountains and forests and rivers in their hearts, thus analyzing the landscape craftsmen in the construction of Jiangnan gardens, and revealing the deep aesthetic meaning.
