Our family likes to grow a small leek, although the leaves are thin and narrow, but its taste is very delicious. Every year after the spring, the leeks gradually emerge green buds. In the Qingming Season, the leeks grow a few inches high and can be cut and eaten. The leeks are fried with oil and salt, and eaten in the mouth, tender and tender, and the faint aroma of leeks is refreshing, especially under the rice. The leeks eaten for the first time are commonly known as "head stubble leeks", which is the best leek. From its beginning, through the three seasons of spring, summer and autumn, leeks are our home cooking.
In the summer, there are more vegetables to eat. The peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, and loofahs sown in the spring are ripe at this time. Green peppers, red tomatoes, and blue-and-purple eggplants dot the vegetable patch, adding a beautiful scenery to the door. Chili peppers are not spicy, chili scrambled eggs are really delicious; tomato sour, raw and cooked can be eaten, tomato egg soup is sweet and sour and delicious enough to drink; fried eggplant, steamed eggplant is eaten every day, each has its own taste. The soup that is delicious and relieving in summer should be loofah egg soup. Cut the loofah into small pieces, add a little oil and salt, and beat two or three eggs to cook the soup, tender and delicious.
After the summer, autumn ushered in, and the vegetables were also changed with the change of season. In autumn, there are vegetables grown in autumn. As soon as autumn passes, it is the summer season, which is the time to sow turnips. When the summer has passed and the white dew festival has arrived, vegetables such as vegetables, cabbage, and garlic will be sown. Vegetables sown in the summer and white dew are so that there are vegetables to eat in the autumn and winter. Especially in winter, the most common vegetables in our family are radish and cabbage. Radish shredded mixed with soy sauce, radish tofu soup, radish braised meat, vegetarian eating, meat eating radish are suitable. Growing vegetables is the same as growing grain, if you want to have vegetables to eat, eat good vegetables, you must grow vegetables well. Preparing the land, ploughing the land, sowing seeds, fertilizing, curing insects, and weeding must be done at every step. If a certain aspect is not done well, it may have an impact on the growth and yield of vegetables.
The most important thing to do when growing vegetables is to prevent insects and other harmful substances. One year, I planted dozens of tomatoes, and from spring to summer, the tomatoes gradually grew. When it came to fruition, I saw the tomatoes blossoming and bearing fruit, and I was really happy. I also thought that when the redness was ripe, I could eat my own tomatoes every day without having to go to the market to buy tomatoes to eat. As the temperature rises in the summer, the green tomatoes that hang under the trees grow larger and larger, and some gradually reveal their red color, getting closer and closer to maturity.
The most annoying thing about growing vegetables is the grass. In the spring, as soon as the temperature rises, the weeds in the field also emerge. In the summer, the weeds in the vegetable field grow faster and more vigorously, and they are sandwiched between vegetables, which not only affects the light and ventilation of vegetables, but also absorbs the nutrients of vegetables. Therefore, the grass is the most diligent. No matter how hot it is, every three or five days, I have to use a sickle hoe to re-weed the grass, as much as possible to remove all kinds of weeds, so that the vegetables can grow easily.
It is precisely because my family has a vegetable field, and I like to grow vegetables, and I rarely go to the market to buy vegetables. If you go to buy, it is nothing more than a guest at home, or a family member who wants to eat some meat dishes such as fish and meat, and then go to the market to buy some back. I always feel that I grow vegetables and eat them myself, I don't know how much better than buying vegetables. For example, when people who pay attention to vegetables buy vegetables, they should see whether the vegetables are pesticides, whether they have used ripening agents, whether they have added drug foaming agents, and so on. Especially those anti-seasonal vegetables, greenhouse vegetables, eating is even more reassuring. For our farmers, planting grain well, planting vegetables well, and eating grain and vegetables for self-sufficiency really has less trouble and less worry. Although the life is simple, there is happiness and beauty in the simplicity.
