The superstars were in New York last night with Edward Einningfer, editor-in-chief of Vogue's UK edition and european editorial director, for the Prince Trust's global gala. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sister Hadid, Carly Klaus and Adute Akersh were all guests in Cipriani. The Prince Trust's global ambassadors, Einingfer and Lionel Richie, co-hosted a party to celebrate the charity's launch in the United States.
The Prince of Wales, who made an appearance in the British magazine Vogue, founded the Prince Trust in 1976 to address unemployment among young people. Since then, the fund has helped more than 1 million young people in more than 20 countries find employment and start businesses. Young people who benefited from the trust's support and guests from the fashion, entertainment and business communities attended the event.
"This event is a tribute to the many young people around the world who participated in the Prince Trust Program who are working to build a better future," Einingfer said. "Since becoming a global ambassador, it is great to see that the foundation has expanded its international reach and supported more young people from diverse backgrounds."
Enninful's co-host Ritchie performed in a crowd that included Palma Elsesser, Stella Maxwell, Imaan Hammam, Lily James, Phoebe Dynevor, Grace Coddington and Burberry's creative director, Riccardo Tisci. "We are so grateful to everyone who supports us in helping more young Americans achieve their dreams, and I am proud to be a part of this important work."
In its more than 40 years of existence, the foundation has helped several young people who have gone on to pursue high-profile careers, including David Oyelowo and Idris Elba, whose wife Sabrina Elba attended the Loewy Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show.
