Over the past five years, all photographs of former President Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov published on the websites of Turkmenistan's state media and state news agencies have been edited and synthesized. And in all the photos, without exception, the former president's neck was retouched and erased with wrinkles.
Previously, only local media would help former president Ptu. But in the 2021 video of Ku Berdymukhamedov's interview with Russian media, the effect of blurred neck can also be seen.
Just a few days ago, on April 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took a group photo with Ku Berdymukhamedov during his visit to Ashgabat, which was subsequently posted on the official website of the President of Tatarstan.
In this photo, Ku Berdymukhamedov's neck is clearly seen with retouch marks, and the entire head is replaced: in addition to the unnatural, smooth neck, there are obvious repeating pixels on the side of the collar – a clear sign of editing photos with PS.
In addition, the focus of the faces of the two is also different, and the face of the former president of Turkey is significantly clearer. A closer look at the pupils of the two men shows that Minnikanov's pupil has only one reflective light source, that is, flash shooting, while Ku Berdymukhamedov's pupil has two reflective light sources, most likely shot in the studio.
The former president's head was also seen from the hair cropped from another photograph, as the hair edges were stiff, with traces of a gray background that had not been fully treated, and some unshaven original hairs. That is to say, Ku Berdymukhamedov did take a picture with Minnikhanov, but was obviously dissatisfied with the finishing film, and the photo was subsequently post-processed.
Ku Bieldmundhödov also has unnatural retouching marks on the sleeves of his coat.
In another photo of Minnikhanov and current President Serdar Berdymukhamedov, there is no sign of a "change of head". When the details of the two photos are zoomed in and compared, a clear difference can be found.
Earlier, the official website of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a photo of Sheikh Berdymukhamedov with Minnikhanov, but the photo was subsequently re-uploaded. In the new photo, the head of Sheikhedem Hamedov is also replaced.
