Snap launches the flying camera Pixy priced at $229.99

On April 29, Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, the parent company of the "Instant Burn" communication app, announced the launch of a flying camera called Pixy.

The Pixy is a portable device with no controller. The user enters flight status with the push of the button Pixy, with four preset flight paths to choose from. The camera can float in the air, fly along the orbit or track the user to shoot, and then land in the user's palm after shooting.

According to Snap's vision, Pixy is equivalent to Snapchat's companion product. Videos and photos taken by Pixy are automatically uploaded to the user's Snapchat Memories, where users can edit and share them to other platforms. Pixy can store up to 100 videos or 1000 photos.

On Thursday, local time, Pixy began selling in the United States and France, priced at $229.99. Users can spend $19.99 to add an extra battery to the Pixy and an additional $49.99 for a dual-battery charger. If you select the default airplane mode, a full charge on a battery can make the Pixy fly 5-8 times.

Snapchat currently has 600 million monthly active users and more than 300 million daily active users.
