Allegedly, a man grabbed the victim and asked for his car keys. According to police, another pulled out a pistol and threatened him.

After getting the keys, the three bandits fled the scene driving the Mercedes Big G and Hyundai.

However, the bandits did not expect that the car was equipped with a GPS tracker.

Officers arrived and began tracking the victim's vehicle.

York District Police were notified and used helicopters to track the stolen vehicle.

With the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police OPP, York District Police found and intercepted the two vehicles.

Police arrested three suspects at the same time, and during the arrest, the police found an imitation pistol in the car.

The three suspects were Nickay Anthony Smythe, a 24-year-old Ajax resident, Mohamed Jama, a 21-year-old Toronto resident, and Kiemar Thompson-Ennis, an 18-year-old Toronto resident.

The three suspects were charged with 4 counts:

1. Robbery with guns

2. Deliberate camouflage

3. Conspiracy to commit a crime

4. Possession of property acquired by criminals
