CARAT CARAT

CUT cut
Diamond cut, symmetry and balance are a crucial point in the 4Cs. The cut criteria set by GIA are graded from "excellent" to "poor". This criterion depends on the talent and experience of the diamond cutter. The fine cut gives the diamond excellent light transmission, blooming bright, glittering and fire (the phenomenon of light dispersion on the spectrum).
The central center diamond of Cartier's work selects only diamonds between the "EXCELLENT" and "GOOD" grades. In harmony with the center diamond, Cartier also selects diamonds to pave according to strict cutting standards.
CLARITY clarity
Inclusions are natural imperfections inside a diamond that affect its quality. Diamond clarity is distinguished by the number, size, and location of inclusions. The Clarity Scale issued by GIA classifies diamonds from IF (Internal FlawlessNess = No Visible Inclusions under 10x Magnification) to I3 (Inclusions = Inclusions Visible to the Naked Eye).
Cartier's central center diamond selects only diamonds between IF (no visible inclusions under 10x magnification) and VS2 (tiny inclusions invisible to the naked eye).
COLOR color
The closer a diamond's color is to colorlessness, the better the diamond quality. Diamond color assessment and classification are based on criteria developed by GIA, ranging from D (colorless) to Z (pale yellow or brown) in alphabetical order, divided into 23 grades. The central center diamond of Cartier's work selects diamonds ranging from D to H grades.
