From 1996 to 2020, defendant Li Jinzao successively took advantage of his position as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and vice chairman of the Autonomous Region People's Government, a member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, a former secretary and director of the Party Group of the National Tourism Administration, a deputy secretary of the Party Group and vice minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as well as the convenience of the formation of authority and status, to provide assistance to relevant units and individuals in matters such as qualification approval, platform preparation, project contracting, and job promotion. The total amount of illegal acceptance of property given by others is equivalent to more than 65.5 million yuan.

The Shenyang Municipal Intermediate People's Court held that defendant Li Jinzao's conduct constituted the crime of accepting bribes. Li Jinzao seriously violated the party's political discipline, organizational discipline, honesty discipline, and life discipline, constituting a serious violation of official duties and suspected of accepting bribes, and did not restrain himself after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, which was serious in nature and had a bad impact, and should be dealt with severely.
